Great Breakfast Protein Shake

Hey Boston, Happy Friday!

Callie Durbrow here…I wanted to give you a quick recipe for a great protein breakfast shake. I was playing around with the idea of adding some oats to my shakes just to give them a little more substance. I am generally the most hungry in the morning and even when I have a shake I am starving by the time my morning personal training sessions are done and I can eat again.

So here’s what I tried today; we’ll see how I feel.

8 ounces of low fat milk
2 ice cubes
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
1/3 cup of oats

I mixed the oats in a coffee grinder just to make them more of a powder, then I threw everything in a blender. It turned out pretty good and definitely gave the shake more of a texture.

I think chocolate protein would be the best option but play around with it and let me know what you think!
